Molecular and Cellular Biomedicine

Our research is devoted to the study of the molecular mechanisms of cell death and proliferation, as they are involved in the development of different human pathologies. Our aim is to apply this knowledge to the understanding of human illness and to provide new targets for clinical treatment.

Our work on cell and experimental animal models targets a wide spectrum of human pathologies, from neurodegeneration and liver diseases to thrombosis and cancer.
