On the occasion of the celebration of the Day of Women and Girls in Science, researcher Montserrat Marí, from the research group "Signalling in Cellular Damage and Cancer, visited the IES Numancia institute in Santa Coloma de Gramenet on February 19 to give a talk aimed at 3rd year ESO students. The objective of this initiative is to make visible the work carried out by female researchers in society, promote scientific vocations and raise awareness about gender issues in the field of biomedical research.
