- Rubén Corpas of the Neurodegeneration and Aging group, postdoctoral researcher assigned to CIBERESP, has been awarded the poster entitled "Anti-aging mechanisms may prevent development of Alzheimer's disease".

  - The poster has been presented at the Xl Symposium of Experimental Neurobiology organized by the Catalan Biology Society that took place on 12-13 November at the Institut d'Estudis Catalans de Barcelona.

  - The study shows that melatonin and resveratrol, two antiaging compounds, induce neuroprotection against Alzheimer's disease in mice, as well as inducing preventive effects and increasing brain resilience.
