Researchers from Stanford University (California, United States) have recently published the “Ranking of the World Scientists: World's Top 2% Scientists”, which identifies the most influential researchers in the world in 22 scientific specialties. Among the more than 100,000 researchers that appear on this list, out of a total of 6.8 million, 2 belong to the IIBB-CSIC (Francesc Artigas y José Carlos Fernandez – Checa).
The list is based on the information on publications in Scopus and the researchers with the most cited works appear during their scientific career evaluated between the years 1996-2020. The database provides information on citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, citations to articles in different authorship positions, and a composite indicator. In the list, in addition to the 2 researchers from the IIBB, there are also more than 50 from the Clinic-IDIBAPS campus.
This is the list of the Clínic-IDIBAPS researchers included among the World's Top 2% Scientists. Underlined in yellow are the researchers from our Center (IIBB).
