The IIBB-CSIC Equality Commission has been partially renewed after a process open to all IIBB-CSIC staff. After the constitution of the Equality Commission, the members of the Equality Commission are the following:
- Leo Márquez, research support technician from the Cerebrovascular Research Group
- Ángeles Muñoz, research support technician from the Cell damage and Regeneration in Abdominal Organs Group
- Alejandro del Castillo, PhD researcher from the Tissue Remodelling, Fibrosis and Cancer Group
- Uxia Argibay, investigadora predoctoral from the Systems Neuropharmacology Group
- Amaia Romatet, investigadora predoctoral from the Cerebrovascular Research Group
- Jesus Amo, postdoctoral researcher from the Cerebrovascular Research Group
- Albert Morales, Tenured Scientist from the Signaling in Cell Damage and Cancer Group
- Anna Moles, Tenured Scientist from the Tissue Remodelling, Fibrosis and Cancer Group
The Equality Commission was created in 2021 to Promote equality in the field of biomedical research and improve coexistence within our institute, guaranteeing non-discrimination based on gender, race, birth, religion, opinion, identity or sexual orientation and the principle of equal opportunities.
