The research group "Mitochondrial regulation of cell death" of the IIBB organizes an International Symposium on cell signaling by lipids and its impact on oxidative stress and human pathology to be held on December 1-2 at the CSIC Delegation in Catalonia. The program has the participation of internationally recognized leaders, such as Profs. Neil Kaplowitz (University of Southern California, USA), Myles Cabot (University of East Carolina, USA) and Wen-Xing Din (University of Kansas Medical Center, USA) who will give keynote lectures on the impact of oxidative stress and lipid signaling in the development of metabolic and liver diseases. Registration for the symposium is free and although face-to-face attendance is limited, the symposium can be followed online by registering through the attached link.

Coinciding with the symposium, the group celebrates the 30th anniversary of its research activity at the Clinic campus with the participation of former predoctoral fellows and postdoctoral researchers who have passed through the group over the years, many of whom have continued their research careers.
