February 11 was declared the International Day of Women and Girls in Science in recognition of the role they play in the scientific and technological community. Its objective is clear: to support women scientists and to promote access for women and girls to education, training and research in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The great challenges we face depend on harnessing all talents. Equalizing opportunities for all women to develop skills in the scientific world is therefore essential for sustainable development.
Our center has many women who work daily for science, occupying a wide variety of positions, both principal investigators, as administrative staff or communication staff.
