Last November 18, the TV3 program "Tot es mou" went to the laboratory of the Biological and Environmental Proteomics group of the IIBB to interview Dra. Montserrat Carrascal on the research they are carrying out on waste water epidemiology. In this study, proteins of different origin are identified in the water captured by the sewage treatment plants throughout Catalonia, allowing the animal populations that generate them to be monitored. From rodent pests to the exploitation of farms or slaughterhouses.
